Dr. Edward Osterman

Dr. Edward Osterman is a Brooklyn native and has been a veterinarian since graduating from The University of Minnesota College of Veterinary Medicine in 1968.  He worked in practices in Sheepshead Bay, Great Neck , and New York City before establishing Kings Bay Veterinary Hospital in the Spring of 1972.  To achieve his goal of providing the highest quality compassionate care to the pets of his friends and neighbors over the past 37 years Dr. Osterman makes it his policy to use only the best equipment, medication, and employ the most dedicated personel.

Presently, Dr. Edward Osterman is the Director and owner of Kings Bay Veterinary Hospital.  


Dr. Carrie Osterman

Dr. Carrie Osterman graduated from Ross University, College of Veterinary Medicine in 2002.  Since graduating she has attended courses specializing in ultrasonography and continues to stay current in the ever changing field of medicine.  Dr.C.Osterman believes a strong client/doctor relationship is the only way to the highest quality pet care. Compassion, dedication and tenderness are staples in our family practice.


Yvette Viera

Yvette Viera is our office manager and a licensed Veterinary Technician.  Yvette graduated from S.U.N.Y. at Farmingdale in 1981 and began working at this office in 1988.  She has extensive interest and experience in pet care and loves working with our clients to help keep their pets healthy.  Her other interests include computers and she has been instrumental in maintaining and utilizing our large system.


Julie Winheim

JulieWinheim has always had a love for animals.  She decided that she wanted to be a part of something great.  This is why she came to Kings Bay Veterinary Hospital.  Seeing a sick animal recover and to know you played a small part in their recovery is a wonderful thing.  She is proud to be working with such a caring group of people at Kings Bay.


Liana Karamanian

Liana Karamanian since childhood, has always had a special place in her heart for dogs and cats. When she help with the healing of a sick animal, it brings her great joy. Working at Kings Bay Veterinary Hospital has brought her closer to the little furry friends she loves. 


Troy Coleman

Troy Coleman comes to us with three years of experience in the veterinary field, which include experience with general practice and emergency hospital care.  He takes pride in the care of animals and has a great deal of empathy for their owners.  Troy plans to continue his education, by becoming a Veterinary Technician.  He also enjoys spending time with his wife, son and their dog Sasha a hurricane Katrina rescue.
